Pool/grounds Attendant

Job description

To ensure safety & maintain cleanliness of pool/health club area, facilities, grounds, equipment and guests. Assist guests with equipment & activities & respond to guest needs. Maintain facility supplies and ensure usage rules are adhered, maintain daily reports and logs. Maintain supplies, supply of pool towels for guests; carry soiled towels to laundry, obtain clean pool towels from laundry and carry to pool deck, keep pool towels neatly folded and stacked for guest use; remove refuse. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Enter and locate work-related information using computers.

Minimum 35 hours per week up to possible 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Multiple 8-hour shifts between 7:00am-5:00pm. Sample shift time 7:00am to 3:00pm. Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.

$15.25/hr. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Guest Satisfaction Score incentives may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.88 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly. Guest satisfaction scores may be available. Sign on bonus of $100+ may be offered upon start at participating sites.

Special Requirements

Pre-employment background check; post injury or incident and reasonable suspicion drug test required cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, US and foreign/H2B. All employees will be required to follow the companys current policy regarding masks, vaccines and testing that is in place at their time of hire.
