Job description
Farm related duties to be performed including unloading, installation of various types of farm grain bins. Will need to be able to work with power tools and hand tools, be able to lift 50 lbs and not be afraid of heights. Employees will also help with the farming of corn and soybeans. Employees will need to work the ground and plant, cultivate, spray and harvest corn and soybeans using tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, combines, grain carts and self-propelled machinery. Employees will perform infield repairs and maintenance on equipment. Assist with the general duties during the calving season. Duties will be assisting with birth deliveries, castrating, weighing, catching and loading animals. Doing record keeping, administering medications, giving vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate. Cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas. Will operate tractors and farm equipment. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion. Employer may provide pay increases for longevity and experience.
Special Requirements
Require 3 months experience and a regular driver's license.
