Job description
Job responsibilities will include the following: General equipment maintenance and structure repairs. Operate farm equipment including but not limited to tractors, planters, sprayers, pickers, combines, bulldozer, loader, excavator, spreader, ATV's and semi-trucks. Plowing land, planting crops, spraying crops and harvesting crops. Operate GPS guided tractors, precision agriculture-based implements and an equipment with advance technology. Applying fertilizer and chemicals to crops. Assisting with livestock as needed. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion. Must have previous experience operating large farm equipment as listed. Must be familiar with John Deere Greenstar agriculture guidance systems.
Special Requirements
Must have a regular driver's license and must be able to obtain a CDL driver's license. Must have experience operating heavy equipment. Require 3 months verifiable experience.
