Job description

Specific Job Requirements:

Mink kit: Employees will spend the majority of the time vaccinating and separating mink kits from their mother and other kits. Duties will include; supplying food and water, removal of waste material, handling and caring, monitoring, vaccinating, separating, and recordkeeping. In addition, they will assist with cleaning out the shed, at times employees may need to build and repair sheds, nest boxes, and cages.

Alfalfa and/or Barley: Employee will assist with preparing the fields (working, tiling and harrowing ground to prepare for planting) planting alfalfa and/or barely. Workers will also help with irrigation of crops including installing, monitory and repairing the irrigation system. They will need to assist with the alfalfa and/or barley harvest.

Special Requirements

4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs.
4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. 4h) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools, wheel barrows, containers, etc.
4i) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time while sorting, examining mink, weeding, transporting,, etc.
4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as, irrigating, handing mink, removing debris, etc.
4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties, for example sorting, shoveling, etc.
