Farmworker/laborer

Job description

May inspect, maintain, clean and repair farm equipment, machinery, building, pens, yards, and build fences or participate in irrigation activities on a farm. Feeding, watering, grazing, catching, weighing, cleaning and loading animals and fowl on a farm. Drive trucks, tractors and other equipment to distribute feed to animals on a farm. Move farm equipment, birds, or animals from one location to another manually or using trucks or carts on a farm. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work in labor intensive working conditions and pass a post-hire drug test as part of fitness for duty, paid by employer. No experience or education necessary, will train. Hours are 7:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with one hour for lunch. Hours may fluctuate due to weather. All work tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no cost. Shared housing may be available.
