Job description
Hand Cultivation includes walking, stooping and standing, otherwise working, outside in farm
fields using hand-held hoes, machetes, or shovels to eliminate noxious weeks and plants.
Hand harvest includes walking, stooping, standing outside in fields, as well as cutting, select
ing, lifting, labeling, packing and culling fruit either on or off harvest machines. Harvest
activities utilize tractor and tractor pulled machines and some workers may work as tractor or
machine operators.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
