Job description

Cultivating certified organic mixed vegetables- planting, seeding, thinning, weeding, watering, and harvesting mixed vegetables in the field and high tunnel production. Planting, seeding, thinning, weeding, watering, strawberries. Drying and curing garlic in July and August. May operate machinery and do repair work. Feeding, watering and moving pasture raised broilers and turkeys. Processing the poultry once a week. The broilers are raised in Joel Salatin style chicken tractors which are moved once a day. The broilers and turkeys are raised only on pasture between May and October, we do not produce them any other time of year. 1 months experience in duties listed required.

Special Requirements

Exposure to extreme temp, lifting 50 lbs, repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping.
