Job description
Operating large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS such as tractor, planter, brush mower, sprayer, combine for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as rice, hay; walking fields pulling off-type weeds; assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems for watering crops; installing levees and spillways; maintaining field roads; driving truck or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment to designated locations; operating bins and augers; operating haying equipment for cutting, baling, and moving hay; stand for long periods of time, work outdoors, follow basic instructions; must be able to read, write and speak English; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
