Kinnard Farms is a family-owned dairy and crop farm located near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Dairy herd consists of 8500 registered Holsteins. The cropping operation grows and harvests alfalfa, corn silage, winter rye, and high moisture corn for use by the dairy herd. Crops are grown and harvested from our own 7000 acres, as well as on an additional 5000 acres of land owned by neighboring farmers. We Believe that healthy crops produce healthy cows, and we strive to grow most of the feed needed by the cow herd on our own land. Describe the job duties you will require employees to complete: Employees will be a member of our Outdoor Team- The Outdoor Team is responsible for planting, tending, and harvesting our crop land. Tasks will include working fields to prepare seedbeds, stone removal, crop protection application, fertilization of fields, hauling Feed from the field to storage at harvest, running large tractors to Place harvested feed into storage, assisting with covering the large piles of feed, equipment maintenance, yard maintenance, field improvements including drainage and fence line removal. We run an extensive line up of state-of-the-art machinery that requires skilled operators. Some of the machines we use- large articulated tractors-500hp plus, large self-propelled sprayers, large tillage equipment- 50 foot wide plus a fleet of semis used for harvest and excavation projects around the farm Payloaders, Skid steers and Excavators. Special consideration is given to applicants that possess skillsets in addition to equipment operation. This allows us to perform other jobs around the farm when weather conditions do not allow for machine operation. Some of these duties are as follows: light mechanical work on field machinery, light farm construction, carpentry, and concrete skills. Daily maintenance of the machinery the individual is operating, electrician skills, excavation operation and landscaping around the farm. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting and repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
