Job description
Duties include drive and operate tractors for feeding cattle daily with towed scaled mixture feeder wagons. They will care of the herd and assist with calving. The workers will drive tractors and operate designated towing equipment, disks, and drags to furrow and fertilize the soil for planting of forage for the animals such as corn for chopping and millet. Cutting, raking and baling of hay as well as moving bales to the ranch for winter feed supply. Delivery of feed, materials, harvested crops or silage to designated locations. Employees must be able to lift 50 pounds, self motivated, ability to work long hours in heat , work independently after given instructions.
Employees must have valid drivers license or obtain one in 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to operational business related calls only.
NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles or housing unit.
No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours.
No Educational level required.
Must have three months tractor driving with towed implements and operate
computerized scale monitors.
