Agricultural Equipment Operator/farmworker

Job description

We have a row crop farming operation where we farm 2000-acres of peanuts, cotton, corn, hay, citrus and we have some cattle as well. We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop farming operation. Employees will need to assist with all aspects of raising these crops including planting, raising, harvesting, and hauling the crops. Employees will need to do all general farm practices associated with annual row crops and assist with our seasonal hay production. Employees will also need to assist with farm upkeep and maintenance including building perimeter fence. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

***Please note than in 2023 and all future application we will adjust our starting date to February to cover our entire crop season starting with field prep and planting in the spring.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
