Agriculture Equipment Operator / Custom Harvester

Job description

Operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machine to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops. Adjusts speed of cutter, blowers, and conveyors, and height of cutting head using hand tools. Changes cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drives heavy truck to transport produce to elevator or storage area. Drives transporter truck to haul harvesting machine between worksites. Drives pick up truck to pulling camper and header trailers between worksites. Services machinery and makes in field repairs. Must have valid driver's license. Must produce and furnish to employer a current MVR showing an acceptable driving record. A minimum of three (3) months of experience required. Employment Reference. Basic literacy and basic arithmetic also required. Extensive Sitting, Exposure to extreme temperatures, 60 lb lifting requirement, post hire Employer paid post hire drug test required. Employer will provide to employee the use of Tools, Supplies, Equipment and 2-way radio & Cell phone communication required to perform the work will be supplied to the Employee free of charge.
