Job description
Duties to include, but not limited to: Workers may drive and operate farm machinery to assist with grain crops such as corn, wheat, soybeans. Employees will drive an 18-wheeled truck and trailer to haul the harvested grain crops to local storage bins and grain elevators. Employee may operate tractors and pickup trucks. Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment may be required. Must be proficient in English. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer's discretion. Employer may provide pay increases for longevity and experience.
Special Requirements
May be required to take random drug (drug free workplace) and / or alcohol tests and criminal background check, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. All testing will occur after employment has started and is not a part of the interview process. Felony convictions that employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living conditions of other workers or other individuals on the farm will result in immediate termination. Failure to comply with request for criminal background check may result in immediate termination of employment. Require 3 months experience.
