Farm Laborer

Job description

The labor to be performed is any work related to fruits and vegetables, such as:
Picking strawberries in May and early June; Thinning apples and peaches off of the trees to promote growth and ripening of other fruit; Hoeing of vegetable plants; Staking. tomato plants; Harvesting apples and peaches in mid-July; Harvesting peppers in early August; Harvesting tomatoes and sweet corn in mid-August; Harvesting gourds and pumpkins in end of August and early September; Harvesting apples throughout mid-September and early November; Getting the fields ready for the winter season which generally should be completed by mid-November.
