Job description
Workers will be picking and planting bell peppers, cabbage, onions, broccoli, cantaloupes, watermelon, and corn by hand according to shape, color, firmness, size, maturity level, and/or ripeness. Workers will load produce into bins. All packing, sizing, loading into bins, sacks, or cartons will be done in the fields where harvesting is being carried out. Other duties may include but not be limited to field maintenance, and repairing and/or installing irrigation lines in the fields, and laying plastic, mulch and/or stakes in the field. All tools will be provided at no cost to the workers.
Special Requirements
Workers must have good hand/eye coordination. Also workers must be able to be stooped and bent over for extended periods of time. Also workers must be able to withstand exposure to the sun or cold for long periods of time.
