Job description
3 months driving heavy equipment. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of raising these crops. These duties include the ability to operate heavy equipment independently (over 200 HP) to function as a harvest and planting season operator for a variety of crops, must be able to operate a manual transmission, drive a tractor while loading potatoes in potato truck during harvest, must be PTO trained, must be able to maintain equipment including fluid checks and routine equipment checks. Employees must have the ability to understand implements and appropriate maintenance, safely hook and unhook implements, must have basic GPS experience with knowledge of hydraulic functions. Employees must be able to work varying schedule, including short notice of reporting to work and long hours. Must be able to work cooperatively with others to finish tasks. Drive and control farm equipment to till soil and to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops. Tractor driving is a solitary activity. Must be able to take direction at the beginning of the shift, operate slowly, asking for advice when needed, with a very high quality of work. Must be able to understand the end results desired and to work with the farm director or manager to achieve them. Employees will be responsible for keeping the equipment and tractor in safe working order including regular maintenance and informing manager when something needs fixed. Job will include other duties as assigned.

Special Requirements
Must be able to obtain a Commercial drivers license. Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 50 pounds on occasion, bend, crawl, stoop, stand, sit, walk, reach, climb without limitations, climb on and off equipment, and using both hands and feet, without limitations. Require a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
