Job description
Workers will assist with all aspects of general farm labor and packing shed labor such as: crop production, crop maintenance and shipping functions as well as general maintenance of the premises during MGI’s season from approximately May 15, 2022 through July 14, 2022. A list of all vegetables, herbs, fruits, and greens include: kale, strawberries, peppers, oregano, dill, thyme, rosemary, tomatoes, greens, zucchini, cucumber, chives, basil, peppermint, spearmint, green beans, squash, chards, sage, citronella, spinach, cilantro, asparagus and variety of flowers. Staking plants, stringing plants, pruning plants, packing produce, sorting vegetables, cleaning fields of weeds and debris, pulling tape, pulling stakes, planting, grading, and stacking produce.

2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.
