Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Operate harvesting machines to harvest crops. Adjust speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drive heavy semi-trucks to transport farm commodities to elevator, storage or market. Drive transporter trucks to haul harvesting machines between work sites. Service machinery and make in-field repairs. Work requires accuracy and efficiency. Crops: wheat, milo, sorghum, corn, hay

The employer will provide at no cost to workers an effective means of communicating with persons capable of responding to the workers needs in case of an emergency.

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license, clean MVR, employment reference, speak/understand English, 3 months experience with combines and/or truck driving. Must be able to drive a manual transmission. Ability to speak and understand English clearly.
