Farm Worker

Job description

Workers will construct and assemble farm structures, buildings and livestock barns. Workers will unload and organize lumber, tin sheeting, roofing materials, construction tools and hardware components. They will build frames, erect walls and trusses, install windows, doors and hardware in farm structures, buildings and livestock barns. Workers will install fencing, feeders, feed lines, and gates on farms. Workers will caulk and seal structures. Workers will collect refuse and clean farm worksites.

Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time. Workers should
expect occasional periods of little or no work because of weather or other conditions beyond the employer's control. These periods can occur anytime throughout the season. Workers may be assigned a variety of duties in any given day and different tasks on different days.

Special Requirements

One month of livestock equipment installation/ repair experience required. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yards.
