Job description

SUPERVISOR/DRIVER OF GREENHOUSE AND SOD FARM LABORERS:
Worker will be required to supervise greenhouse laborers and or sod farm workers. Worker will
be required to track and document hours worked by laborers. Worker will be provided with, at no
cost to the worker, the required tools for time keeping of laborers. Worker will communicate
with authorized personnel within Worldwide Harvesting Co, LLC, in order to report time
records, hours refused by laborers, and any laborer that abandons their employment without
authorization. Worker will be required to transport greenhouse and sod farm laborers to
designated job site locations on a daily basis, descending from designated housing location and
returning to housing location upon completion of daily production. Worker will be given a fuel
card to ensure assigned transportation vehicle (labor bus, van, or pickup truck) is properly
supplied with the fuel anticipated for daily transportation of laborers. Worker will also transport
laborers to and from grocery stores and laundromat on a weekly or as needed basis in order for
worker and laborers to obtain necessary personal products and wash clothing. Worker will be
required to obtain, if not already in possession of, an FLCE Farm Labor License with the State of
Florida DBPR and WHD- Federal Farm Labor Contractor License with driving/transportation
authorization to drive authorized vehicles for WWH, a valid CDL license or equivalent to with
passenger endorsement to safely and properly drive and transport laborers, a DOT Medical
Certificate, as well as agree to submit a random drug and alcohol test at any given time during
employment as required by DOT. Refusal or failure of a drug and alcohol test will result in
immediate termination of employment. Worker must be able to sit or stand for long periods of
time, withstand extreme heat or cold temperatures, must be able to listen and follow directions,
must be able to lift safely operate a forklift on a sod farm used to move pallets of sod to
designated locations on the farm, as well as transportation vehicles used to transport workers.
Worker must also be able to walk short distances on a sod farm and within the location of the
greenhouse. Worker will not be permitted to use a cell phone during work hours unless in an
emergency. Ear buds and or headphones will not be permitted for the worker to utilize while
operating any machine and or vehicle used during work hours. This job is anticipated to last
approximately 8 months recurrent annually, between the months of May and December to
complete production for growers.

Special Requirements

This type of work, involves working conditions that require tremendous stamina, a high level of physical activity in cold or extremely hot conditions in direct sunlight and in adverse weather such as rain, as well as following instructions given. The work requires a high level of physical conditioning. Due to the type of work involved, there is a Probationary Period of five (5) days beginning with the first day of employment, to show possession of the requisite physical strength and endurance to perform this type of work.
