Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Perform duties like: Operate self–propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest hay. Adjust speeds of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Lubricate, service and incidental repair to farm machinery.

Harvesting Equipment: Mower, Tractor, Turner

Special Requirements

Employer requires criminal background check post hire at employer's expense due to expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Extensive sitting. Extensive walking. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
