Job description

Sugar Cane Field workers - 5 temporary positions; approximately 6 months; job to begin 07/01/22 through 01/15/23; Duties: to operate tractors in the fields during the preparation of the sugar cane fields for planting. To assist with the maintenance and the harvesting of the sugar cane crop. $12.45 per hour. 40 hrs a week. M-F; 7AM-4PM base schedule but as with all agricultural work it is influenced by weather. OT may vary but not guaranteed; three (3) months experience in job offered required. All work tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided at no charge. Housing and transportation provided to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of the work day; transportation and subsistence expenses to the work site will be provided by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract, or earlier, if appropriate; employer guarantees to offer three-fourths (3/4) of the total work hours listed in the contract. Alma Plantation, LLC will provide employment to any qualified, eligible U.S. workers who applies to the employer until 50 percent of the period of the work contract has elapsed which is October 8, 2022.
