Job description
Workers will operate and maintain farm equipment and vehicles including (but not limited to) Tractors, Tillers, Combines, Grain Carts, Grain Elevators, Sprayers, and other machines. Workers will operate equipment to cultivate, harvest and seed row crops, load and unload trucks and grain carts, and haul crops to bins and grain elevators. Workers will climb ladders and check grain bins. Good safety skills of operating the equipment are mandatory. Equipment operators may be asked from time to time to work in other areas of the ranch, running irrigation, performing repairs, maintenance and general farm duties. Workers must have 3 months of experience operating 500 hp tractors or greater and hauling semi-trucks in an agricultural operation.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
