This job requires a minimum of 24 months of verifiable prior experience performing duties in an office environment. Must possess basic computer skills and be bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Seasonal Shipping Coordinator:

Worker is responsible for organizing high-quality and on-time shipments for all customers. Performs quality tests on products and reports information to customers. Worker will manage the day to day entry and load list generation for potato shipments; coordinate all shipments to customers by receiving orders, relaying order information to shipping managers, coordinating logistics and posting process orders after shipment; lead the customer quality program by performing the quality control tests on potatoes and monitor quality data from other locations; assist with establishing the standards and training program; perform customer interface and assist customers with overall satisfaction and question resolution; lead the remote area harvest shipping set up and train employees on shipping procedures; assist shipping managers in day to day shipping duties and may act as a back-up during weekends, vacations and heavy shipping periods; act as liaison with billing department to ensure all loads are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner; assist in setting up new customer and logistic accounts; enter payroll hours into payroll system and assist in completing part-time and seasonal new hire paperwork.

Work is to be done for long periods of time. Workers should be able to work on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time. Allergies to goldenrod, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides or honey bees may affect a worker’s ability to perform the job. Workers should be able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodations. Saturday work required. Must be able to lift/carry 25 lbs. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing is required upon reasonable suspicion of use. Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift hours.

Worker must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office products; and able to provide general direction to order quality control/entry/data entry employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to compare and distinguish shipping and loading data.

Persons seeking employment in this position must be available for the entire period requested by the employer. Workers hired pursuant to this job order will be subject to a trial period of up to 5 business days during which their performance of required tasks will be evaluated. If the performance during the trial period is not acceptable to the employer in its sole discretion the worker will be terminated.

Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on a worker’s Sabbath or federal holidays. Workers will have an unpaid lunch break. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.

The employer will offer 3 shifts per 24 hours with an unpaid lunch break Monday through Saturday:

(Shift 1) 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
(Shift 2) 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
(Shift 3) 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Each worker will be assigned to a shift.
