Job description

Maintain hotel/resort in clean & orderly manner. Clean guest room accommodations, conference facilities, halls & public spaces; remove, sort, fold, carry & replace linens; make beds, set up guest & meeting room furniture, pictures, amenities according to resort standards; replenish supplies, dust, mop, vacuum, extract & shampoo carpets, clean bathrooms, clean & polish mirrors & windows, dispose of refuse.

Minimum 35 hours per week up to possible 40 hours per week. Open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Multiple 8 hour shifts between 7:00am - 6:00pm. Sample shift 8:00am – 4:00pm. Hours and shifts may vary based on assigned schedules and occupancy.

Addendum to F.b.9a: Additional conditions about the wage rate to be paid. -

In California, an overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after eight hours in a day and for the first eight hours on the seventh consecutive day of work in a workweek; at double-time after 12 hours in a day and for all hours worked in excess of eight on the seventh consecutive day of work in a workweek; and at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid between $25.08 per hour and $33.44 per hour based on hours worked and the base rate of pay offered. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.

Special Requirements

No minimum education or experience required. On the job training provided.
Pre-employment criminal background check required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work a 5 day schedule, including weekends and holidays as required. Applicant must complete an employment application.
