Job description
I need four workers to help with the seasonal duties which includes care handling, hand raising offspring bovid, weighing (on scales), catching, and loading animals on truck, or enclosures. The need is only temporary since we only do the weaning hand raising at the early growth stage of development. While care handling workers will examine animals to detect symptoms of illnesses, injuries, or abnormality after birth and through the early-stage development. Workers will be required to clean and disinfect animals pens and yards after each task is completed. This is seasonal as it doesn’t not require hands on feeding year around only the early hand raising early development season. After the first 10 months of life the animal will not need the hands-on tasks. The following year the new offspring is born, and the process begins again. Workers may also be required to assist with maintaining grounds such as removing any trimming trees to prevent injury to animals, occasional tractor use due to weeds that could be toxic to livestock this time of year, and fire prevention weed control.
Special Requirements
Drug Screen will occur post-hire at the employer's expense in the event a worker is injured or involved in an accident.
