Nursery Worker

Job description

Manually plant, cultivate, transplant and harvest trees. Duties also include operating tractors and skid steers, field maintenance, ball digging, running weedeaters, trimming trees, tying tops of trees, cutting trees, wrapping tree trunks in protective felt, preparing digging machines, driving trucks, packing trees onto trucks. Unloading inventory, tranching and watering liners daily, cultivating soil, preparing and planting liners using setter, working with overhead watering system, trimming, watering, fertilizing, hoeing weeds and mowing between tree rows. Potting and transplanting, weeding, general plant care. Allergens will be encountered: hay, pollen, dust, etc. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs and have prior nursery experience.
