Farm Worker

Job description

Operate large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops; transport grain and oilseed crops from field to storage facilities; install and maintain irrigation, polypipe, and flood; walk fields and pull weeds; harvest, process, dry, bag, and transport rice; drive pickup to obtain parts and supplies; daily repairs and maintenance to equipment, machinery, buildings, irrigation, and fences; maintain worksite and equipment; clean location and equipment.

Rate of pay may be more depending on experience.

Special Requirements

Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire and obtain clean driving record. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, workers may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
