Job description

1.Pick mushrooms on assigned aisle and room. 2.Help co-worker to finish picking together at the same time. 3.Pick mushrooms as required by your crew leader. 4.Keep your area clean(floor/bed). 5.Do not damage the bed by raking or putting boxes/baskets on top of mushrooms and by pulling mushrooms instead of twisting which cause holes. 6.Put(do not throw) the mushrooms in the box/basket, handle mushrooms with care. 7. Size mushrooms according to the size required for each box or tray. 8.Do not throw good product in the trash. 9.Clean your equipment at the end of the day. 10.Turn in knives at the end of the day to the supervisor for sanitizing.

Production standards
SQF (Safe Quality Food) Requirements: 1. Adhere to Farm's SQF Policies. 2.Cleaning and Sanitation of all equipment/areas should be in accordance with the coordinating SOP (Standard Operating Procedures). 3. Wear protective clothing. 4.Must wear hairnet and beard guards must be worn if facial hair is present. 4. No food or drinks in grow halls and rooms. 5.No chewing gum/tobacco, no smoking. 6.No jewelry,watches,rings.earrings,headphones,mp3 players, or any other personal objects that may fall into the product or equipment. 7. Report any violation regarding food safety to your immediate supervisor.

Qualified candidates must have excellent fine motor coordination and be able to use both hands to grasp product and ensure proper cutting technique.

Everyday worker will have 30 minutes unpaid lunch and two 10 minute paid breaks at separate time (10 am/2 pm).

Special Requirements

Three months of agricultural experience is required. Perform prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, walking, sitting, lifting and carrying of 75 lbs.
