Job description
Workers will plant pumpkins, pick, clean, grade, sort, pack and load apples and pumpkins and thin apples by hand, do fence and trellis repair and other orchard maintenance. May plant, graft, cut down, prune and fertilize trees, work with tree and orchard irrigation and make repairs. Must be able to operate a 55 HP or larger tractor. Must be able to stand and walk long periods of time, use sharp instruments, able to do ladder work and lift 50lbs. 3 months experience required.
Special Requirements
Workers will work with the following crops: Apples and Pumpkins at 15.37/hour or the prevailing AEWR. Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
