Job description
Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.
Equipment: 770 John Deere combines, John Deere tractors and grain carts, Semi and hopper bottoms, John Deere tractors and planters, John Deere tractors and field cultivators, Chisels for fall tillage
Crops: Corn, Soy Beans
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
