Job description
Perform nonroutine or precision functions involving the preparation of large portions of meat. Work may include specialized slaughtering tasks, cutting standard or premium cuts of meat for marketing, making sausage, or wrapping meats. Remove bones, and cut meat into standard cuts in preparation for marketing. Package meat for shipping and sale. Work typically occurs in slaughtering, meat packing, or wholesale establishments.
Special Requirements
Workers are subject to pre-employment drug testing, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Position may require you to work in hot and or cold environments. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting to 50 pounds may be required. Must be willing to perform some jobs at elevated heights. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime if scheduled.
Schedule varies, overtime available as needed.
