Job description

Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Ability to understand, execute and complete a daily prep list. Prepare ingredients to use in cooking i.e. chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, starch cookery. Cook food in various techniques, producing best outcomes. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served. Keep a sanitized and orderly workstation in the kitchen. Ensure all food and other items are stored and rotated properly. Check quality of ingredients. Monitor mise en place and communicate needed product to your Chef.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week: Minimum of 35 hours per week (meaning no less than). Open seven days. Work hours of operation are 24 hours per day. Shift hours per week: 5am to 1pm, 6am to 2pm, 7am to 3pm, 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm, 1pm to 9pm, 2pm to 10pm, 3pm to 11pm, 4pm to 12, 10pm to 6am. Shift days and work hours vary. Special Requirements

One year of experience as a cook is required. Must pass pre-employment drug test (in accordance with companys Drug Free Workplace Policy) and background check. This includes seasonal and full-time annual positions and is applied to all applicants regardless of their national origin, race, or gender or visa status. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
