Workers will operate all types of caterpillar equipment including excavators, wheel loader, track skid steer, dozers, scrapers, graders, and forklifts. Workers will either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes including starting machine, engage clutch, and push and move levers to guide machine along forms or guidelines and to control the operation of machine attachments. Worker will use excavators, wheel loader, track skid steer, and dozers, to move material and debris as required by the crew leader. Equipment operated by workers will be used for applying concrete, asphalt, or other materials to roadbeds, parking lots, or airport runways and taxiways or for tamping gravel, dirt, or other materials. Additionally, workers will inspect, clean, and maintain equipment operated and report malfunctions to supervisors.

Special Requirements

Must pass employer paid drug post-accident drug test. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs frequently. 3 months of heavy machine operating experience.
