Job description

The employer will provide the tools necessary to perform the described job duties without charge to the worker. The employer will charge the worker for reasonable costs related to the workers refusal or negligent failure to return the tools or due to such workers willful damage or destruction of the tools.

Harvesting
Flower Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the flower stems using shears to the indicated length. The worker will then place it in a plastic harvesting bucket with water until it is full and carry it and then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Arugula Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the salad greens at the indicated length using sharp scissors. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Bean Hand Harvesting - The worker will pinch off the mature pods and bunch using rubber bands. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Berry Hand Harvesting- The worker will pinch off the mature berries and place in a berry basket on a berry flat. The worker will continue filling baskets until the berry flat is full. Alternatively, the worker may place berries directly in a berry flat without the baskets. When the flat is full, the worker will carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new berry flat and begin the process again.

Broccoli and Mini Broccoli Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the mature heads at the indicated length using sharp knife. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Brussel Sprouts Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the mature heads at the indicated length using sharp scissors. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Carrots Hand Harvesting- The worker will pull up the mature plants with roots and trim the tops at the indicated length using sharp knife. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Cabbage, (Chinese, Red, and Green) Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the mature heads at the base using sharp knife and strip off the wrapper leaves. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Cauliflower Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the mature heads at the indicated length using sharp knife. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Romanesco Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the mature heads at the indicated length using sharp knife. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.

Celery Hand Harvesting- The worker will cut the mature stalks at the base using sharp knife and strip off the outer petioles. The worker will then place it in a harvesting crate until it is full and carry it and place it on the nearest trailer. The worker will then get a new harvesting crate and begin the process again.
