Agriculture Equipment Operator

Job description

Drives and operates tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops and grains such as wheat & beans. They will operate self propelled sprayers, and operate tractors to cut, rake and bale forage for the animals. General farm knowledge is needed. Must work independently after given instructions. Workers will transport materials, supplies or crops to designated locations with semi-trucks. Routine maintenance will need to be done on all equipment, buildings and grounds.

Employees must have a valid drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 30 days.
Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in machinery, vehicles or housing unit. Drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours is totally prohibited and is cause for termination, other wise discouraged. No Educational level required. Must have six months tractor driving with towed implements, operate computerized monitors and semi-truck driving experience.
