Feedlot Worker

Job description

Responsibilities include fencing, checking cattle, breaking ice or hauling water, loading/unloading salt, minerals, and protein tubs. Workers also help with commodity transport and unloading at the feedlot, as well as maintaining equipment and helping to gather, work, and process cattle. Workers must be able to lift 75 lbs.

This is an active position that requires the workers to be outdoors in all weather elements for our area. Three (3) months of agricultural experience required, including basic knowledge of handling cattle. Ability to drive a vehicle and/or pickup truck. Basic mechanical skillset required. Training is provided for tasks that are new to employees.
