Maintenance Porter

Job description

Ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris is removed from all areas of the facility using brooms, mops, brushes and other hand tools. Walk garage daily to note/correct any maintenance problems. Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms. Empty all trash. Replace bulbs. Change filters. Stock supplies. Submit requests for repairs/maintenance. Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies. Applicant must be able to lift pull, push 75 lbs. with continuous bending/stooping, standing/walking majority of shift.

Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Open 7 days a week. Shifts 7:30am-4pm, 3:00pm – 11:30, 11:00pm -7:30pm. Each shift has a 30-minute unpaid break. Hours and shifts may vary with occupancy.

Required uniform provided at no cost to employee. One meal per shift provided at no cost to employee.

Special Requirements

1 month Hotel/Resort Maintenance Porter experience required. Must complete employment application. Applicants must be able to work a 7-day schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
