Job description
Perform lawn care maintenance by pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and/or hedges. Plant trees, foliage, and bushes. Maintain appearance of lawn by mowing and edging. Manage tree and shrub care and maintain flower beds. Perform landscape installation activities including installing floral beds and prepare existing areas of foliage and landscaping materials. Must know how to use garden tools, hand tools, and lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, tractor, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. Perform winter cutbacks on perennials and plants in order to properly prepare lawn or landscape for winter weather and new growth in the Spring. Maintain irrigation systems for flower beds, including winterizing the systems before temperatures drop below freezing to prevent damage.
Special Requirements
Must have 3 months of landscape maintenance experience. Must be able to lift a 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for 8 hours a day.
