Job description

Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls. Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed. Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. Inform patrons of establishment specialties and features. Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room staff to ensure that patrons receive prompt and courteous service. Order or requisition supplies and equipment for tables and serving stations. Assist with serving food and beverages. Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage service staff. Prepare receipts after establishments close. Prepare staff work schedules. Plan parties or other special events and services.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week: 35 hours per week (meaning no less than). All employees work at least 5 shifts per week. Typical shifts: 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11 pm.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years of age. Must pass pre-employment drug test (in accordance with companys Drug Free Workplace Policy). Ibis screens all applicants through drug tests, including domestic and H-2B visa employees. This includes seasonal and full-time annual positions and are applied to all applicants regardless of their national origin, race, or gender. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Must present a professional demeanor and appearance.
