Job description

The workers will operate various stone-cutting machines that cut and shape stone. They will use hydraulic guillotine cutters, stone saws, drills, hammers, jackhammers, hand tools, and splitting wedges to shape the stone until it is ready for palletization. Lift and carry product by hand. In some instances, the workers will use controls to operate machinery to move stone for other workers to shape.

Operate and tend machines for purposes of producing, moving, and trimming raw stone and finished stone products. Lift/carry product by hand. Count/stack/sort materials on pallets for packaging and shipping.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Post-hire post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers.
