Job description
Set up and operate hand spray equipment to spray and/or spread pesticides and herbicides. Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to formulas. Apply herbicide to low-growing grasses and weeds with a great deal of control over the amount and distribution of herbicide. Spray designated areas with pesticides. Lift, push, and swing nozzles, hoses and tubes to direct spray over designated areas. Mix pesticides and herbicides for application to trees and shrubs. On the job training is provided.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry 36-pound backpack and walk up to 12 miles per day. Overtime available, but not guaranteed.
