Job description
Operating large farm equipment and primarily John Deere machinery equipped with Greenstar GPS such as tractor, sprayer, air seeder, planter, grain cart, combine for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, spraying, harvesting grain and oilseed crops; manual operation and maintenance of grain storage at harvest; tender seed, liquid, and water in the field to planter and sprayer; in field upkeep to machinery; assessing field conditions and crop maturity for adjusting down pressure of openers, threshing settings of combines, and flow rate of sprayer; driving farm vehicle to obtain inputs for growing crops.
