Job description

The Housekeeper will be accountable for performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties including, but not limited to: cleaning and resetting guest bedroom, bathroom, and public areas; changing linens; making beds; conducting turndown service in the evenings; organizing collateral on tables; straightening furniture; cleaning; dusting and vacuuming of rooms and public areas; emptying trash; stocking satellite closets; providing and retrieving linen supplies; being courteous and helpful to Hotel guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences; and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors. Performs additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

WORK SCHEDULE: MINIMUM 35 HOURS PER WEEK. OPEN 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WILL WORK NORMAL 8-HOUR SHIFTS SCHEDULED VARIOUSLY MONDAY - SUNDAY, BETWEEN 7AM - 11PM. HOURS AND SHIFTS MAY VARY DUE TO OCCUPANCY.

ADDITIONAL WAGE INFORMATION CONTINUED: EMPLOYER MAY INCREASE WAGE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND/OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PAY FOR PERFORMANCE AND TENURE. OVERTIME MAY BE AVAILABLE BUT IS NOT GUARANTEED.

Special Requirements

While performing the duties of the job, the Housekeeper is required to stand, walk; handle or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Exert physical effort in being able to clean several rooms or areas per shift.
