Job description
Operating farm equipment and machinery such as 50-75 hp tractors, 1 ton truck and skid steer for pecan harvesting, cleaning and processing pecans, tree digging, bagging, loading for market, harvesting grain, oilseed, forage crops Nov-Jan; ground preparation for planting pecan trees, tree grafting, staking trees, planting vegetables, nursery pruning, weeding, planting grain, oilseed, forage crops Feb-May; grafting, pruning, staking, weeding and harvesting vegetable June-Sept; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Occasional, overnight, off-site delivery of trees grown by the employer possible; if such work is necessary, employer will pay travel time from listed worksite in Tishomingo to location as well as meals and lodging until return to listed worksite in Tishomingo.
