Job description

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to serve in restaurant. Duties include but are not limited to ensuring food preparation areas are clean and sanitary; preparing and cooking dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner; preparing ingredients for cooking; baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods; cooking soups and sauces; baking breads and pastries; portioning and arranging food on serving dishes; maintaining inventory of ingredients and keeping records as needed.
