Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Apply/administer medications/vaccinations to livestock; Check/maintain cattle feed and water equipment; Clean livestock stalls with disinfectant; Feed Livestock; Groom Livestock; Inspect livestock for illness/injury; Maintain livestock equipment; Make hay feed; Mix additives in feed; Order feed for animals; Place mineral blocks; Protect livestock from predators; Spray livestock with insecticide; Tend to young calves; Transport cattle; Collect and remove manure from livestock facilities; Break up ice in watering troughs.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
