Job description

Landscape/maintain grounds using hand/power tools & equipment, including mowers, blowers, weedeaters. Mowing, shoveling, raking, edging, and trimming of all golf course grounds. Responsible for maintaining bunkers; changing cups on greens and tee markers; and picking up debris, leaves, and broken tree limbs. Operates smaller equipment and hand tools as directed by supervisor. Responsible for application and recording of fertilizers and pesticides on the golf courses and grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Check/ensure equipment has proper fluid level and is operating properly. Clean and store all equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Open 7 days a week. Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Normal shift time: 5:30am – 2:00pm, includes 30-minute unpaid break. Workdays and shift times may vary with events. Holidays and weekends required.

Basic rate of pay: $15.64 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $23.46/hr hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Pay received bi-weekly.

Special Requirements

Post injury/incident drug test required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work a 5 day Schedule. Applicant must complete an employment application.
