Job description
Job duties include the operation of large farm equipment for transporting grain, transporting product to feedlot if necessary, harvesting and swathing. This equipment includes semi trucks, payloaders, swathers, skid steer, tractors, and tractors with various implements. Employees will also help with calving by checking the herd for new calves and identifying any problems when they occur. Manual duties include fencing, picking rocks, branding, maintenance, and repairs. Employees must have 3 months of experience, basic English literacy, reading, and math skills, and the ability to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
Special Requirements
Workers must have or be able to obtain a CDL. Employees must be able to lift 75 pounds since they will be lifting/dragging calves, tires, salt blocks, and mineral bags. Moderate cell phone use is allowed at the worksite.
