Temporary Seasonal Position: Ag Equipment Operator | SOC Code: 45-2092

Possible shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM. 35-40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Corn, Soy Beans. Duties may include: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Attach farm implements to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate corn and soybeans. Tow harvesting equipment. General lubrication, service and mechanical repair to farm machinery. General building/shop and farm maintenance. Cleaning and power washing equipment and buildings. Drive truck to transport crops to storage area. Loading helicopter and experience with aerial pesticide application needed. Haul seed or fertilizer to field or storage area. Use of combines, tractors, trucks and various hand tools. & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Combine, forklift operation & farm equipment maintenance exp.Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.100lbs. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours.
